Highway 3 closed July 22; detour is in place


Highway 3 at the intersection of 190th Street closed at 7 a.m., Tuesday July 22 for the construction of a roundabout. The closure will be in place through September 30.

Editorial: Big school board field is encouraging


We had our doubts when the Farmington School Board announced plans to require a primary election in the event a large crowd of candidates filed for this year's election.

It's been a tough summer so far for Lake Superior charter captains


Charter fishing captain Peter Dahl snugged his boat, the "Hooker Too," into its berth at the Waterfront Plaza Marina on Monday afternoon. In his cooler lay seven lake trout that his clients had caught that day on Lake Superior.
