Bruenig gets call from the Hall


The Minnesota Amateur Baseball Hall of Fame announced that Jordan's John Breunig will be inducted into the 2008 Hall of Fame.
According to the Minnesota Amateur Baseball Hall of Fame Web site, the 46th Annual Induction Banquet will be held on Sept. 20 at the Glenn Carson Hall in the St. Cloud Civic Center. Social Hour is at 4:30 p.m. with the dinner starting at 5:30 p.m.

Millers fall to St. Peter


St. Peter defeated the Jordan Millers 4-2 on Wednesday night.
Troy Mahoney took the loss for the Millers as he gave up all four runs in six innings.
Jordan managed only six hits in the loss.
Their record is currently 6-7 on the season.

Cheerleaders wash cars for fund-raiser

Saints fall in playoff opener


The St. Benedict Saints lost to Montgomery on Tuesday night 4-3 in 10 innings to open their best of three playoff series.
Jacob Wolf was the hard luck loser as Montgomery's Derek Faushct hit a 10th inning walkoff double to score the winning run.
The two team will play game two of their series on Friday, July 25 at 7:30 p.m. in Prior Lake.
