Royals advance to section final

Eric Miller scored off a free kick as the Woodbury boys soccer team defeated St. Paul Central, 1-0, in the Section 4AA semifinals on Saturday night at Woodbury High School. The Royals will face either Stillwater or Cretin-Derham Hall on Tuesday night with a trip to the state tournament going to the victor.

New I-94 frontage road opens

Local, county and state officials gathered at the west end of Woodbury Lakes Friday for a ribbon-cutting ceremony to officially open the I-94 South Frontage Road and eastbound ramp. The project had been in the works since 2004.
